Here is a strange compilation that doesn't have much to offer as a whole, but might surprise some Moloko+ fans of its existence because it contains an alternate version of their classic "Falling Apart" along with another track (uncredited band name) featuring many of the same members called "Doctor X". This LP was limited to 1,000 copies and includes a hand-painted cover. Since some of the tracks do not officially list a band name, I included the credits for each track. The credits were somewhat confusing as well since some had been fixed by hand in green marker on my copy! This compilation seems to be the work of Franz Erlmeier and Fritz Köstler, who appear on many of the tracks. Besides Moloko+, the rest of the material ranges from dub, cheesy 80s synth/new wave in the commercial vein, reggae, to a German blues band!

Hello, we posted this some months ago... pretty confused with the "substance" in it. It is nice that you have shown the songs and the groups involved in a more analytical way than we did.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'd like to say that you have a great blog and there are so many rare stuff that you post from time to time. Great Job. We are big followers...
Sorry, but I must have missed your posting - though I check your blog too! Not positive if I ever made it back that far in the archives since the past couple months were hectic. Heh, I thought about doing a google search for it before posting, but then thought I was probably wasting my time... Anyways, it is cool to see your copy posted has the same fixed hand-written credits on the back sleeve too.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you posting here. My life's been too hectic to think about much music but I took a while to catch up on you and Phoenix Hairpins.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this may be a soundtrack score or some such related project. Interesting...
ReplyDeletenice recipe and great photography. thankyou for shearing this information with us!chowringhee satyaniketan
Informative article - For my two cents , if your business needs to fill out a CMS-40B , my business partner encountered a blank form here http://pdf.ac/4aVsYa.

Reviewing this once more, it seems the first six, and 11th tracks were primary compostionns or inclusions by the same two writers at minimum, for this film, "Zuckerbaby." That many of the same artists appear on each track seems to help unify the intention here. In a way reminds me of how "Der Biß" soundtrack had the fingerprint of Unlimited Systems on it. This may be a similar situation. ALso strikes me as very German Punk to not be so anal about correct and thorough info!
ReplyDeleteThank you, your article is very good
